Capt. Nicholas Boyd is a father, waterman, self-taught fly fisherman, fly tier, and a dedicated fishing guide in the beautiful South Carolina low country. He was born and raised in Beaufort, South Carolina and has been fishing the Low Country his whole life. Growing up, he either worked hard with his dad as his right hand man or they went fishing. His dad's strong work ethic in construction taught him the value of hard work and giving everything 110% in life. Capt. Boyd has a deep passion for guiding, finding joy in seeing someone else succeed on the bow. He lives for those moments when the impossible happens, especially when it involves big Redfish or large fish in their natural habitat. His goal is to show clients the fish and make it as easy as possible for them to catch. While he enjoys having a good time and laughing with his clients, he is also a knowledgeable fisherman. Every time he sets foot on the water, he looks forward to the unknown and what it has in store. His ultimate aim is to create unforgettable memories and friendships while helping clients catch that big fish of a lifetime. The Skiff

I guide a 18’8 Hell’s Bay Neptune. It is one of the most versatile skiffs I have ever been on and is the perfect tool for fishing the waters of the low country. It has the abilities to cross big open water extremely butter smooth and dry but still able to access very shallow flats and creeks. Tons of room and dry storage and is extremely stable for a skiff of its size. It can accommodate up to three anglers. You will be extremely pleased spending a day on this boat.
